About Us

Praise Chapel is an independent full gospel church.  A family church whose goal is to bring people to Jesus and to guide them by biblical instruction into the purpose for which God has created them.

The church seeks ardently to bring the eternal message of salvation through Jesus Christ to a twenty first century audience using different ways to bring the message home.  There is a vibrant, fun-loving and welcoming atmosphere where people from all walks of life are accepted, embraced and valued.  Activities and events are regularly arranged to cater for the broad spectrum of ages and interest groups represented within the congregation.  All this with a view to developing new believers and discipling mature Christians.

The ministry aims to empower individuals by encouraging them to utilize their God-given talents, skills and abilities to serve their families, the (local) body of believers and ultimately, the wider community.

The Vision:  “Celebrating Jesus and You!

Celebrating Jesus...

As a Bible-believing church, we place the person of Jesus Christ, both in His deity and humanity, at the centre of all that we do.  Primarily we recognize our limitations and His limitlessness thus the Lordship of Christ and the sovereignty of God’s Word form the bedrock of our theological doctrine and all aspects of our practical ministry.  To this end we aspire to;

•  Develop effective discipleship through the Word of God
•  Build strong families on biblical principles
•  Pursue innovative methods of evangelism
•  Turn members into active participants

...and Celebrating You

It is our belief that ALL individuals are made in the image of God and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.  Praise Chapel endeavours to highlight and celebrate the challenges, triumphs, milestones and achievements of congregants through a range of fellowship opportunities and special events designed for families and individuals alike.  This provides a strong and stable support network outside of the church’s set service times and working hours.  In so doing, we desire to establish;

•  An oasis – a place of worship serving as a pleasant relief, refuge and change from the often harsh occurrences of day to day life.
•  A ministry that meets the specific needs of specific groups such as men, women, business people, senior citizens, youth and young children.
